Vera Golik

Vera is a health, beauty and well-being journalist contributing to leading magazines in Brazil, including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Vogue, and Marie Claire.

She is also a consultant to the United Nations, connecting women’s issues with the private sector. A longtime advocate for women’s empowerment, Vera is a member of the board and partner of Fundo Infinito Comunicação e Responsabilidade Social, a company dedicated to corporate communication planning and cultural and social projects. 

2014 Update:

Vera has credited her experience in the Global Ambassadors Program with the recent success of her Project Open Hearted, a photo exhibit on the realities of breast cancer. Since her participation in GAP, Vera has sought new ponsors for the project, enabling her to open over 15 new exhibitions. She has also created an NGO, which, in addtion to Project Open Hearted, will focus on women's empowerment programs.
