Lina Maria Useche Jaramillo

Lina is CEO and a founder of Aliança Empreendedora, a nonprofit organization that supports NGOs and local governments in designing, testing and implementing inclusive business models and projects that stimulate and support entrepreneurship in low-income communities.

She is also co-founder of Impulso Microcredit, a pioneer microcredit organization in Brazil that launched the first crowd-funding platform for investment in low-income micro-entrepreneurs. 

2014 Update:

Lina maintains contact with her mentor, Lesley, and visited her in New York in May of 2014. After the visit, she headed to Cambridge to take a course at Harvard Business School. Also, during that trip, Lina was invited to present Aliança´s Impact assessment at the ANDE conference, Metrics from the Ground Up in Washington, DC.
