Unhotel is an experiential travel company focusing on Indian immersion. A leadership coach and HR professional, Shilpi stepped into the travel industry in 2009 with a humble homestay, Cinnamon Stays. In a short span, Unhotel has become a collective of more than 50 unique and diverse experiences in India, each one focusing on core values of responsible and sustainable tourism.
A strong champion of diversity, Shilpi focuses on inclusive travel and leadership. Besides being Co-founder of Unhotel, Shilpi is also managing partner and head of the Leadership & Coaching practice for BD Foundation, a global D&I consultancy. One of her prime travel initiatives is to make travel safe and accessible for women. She believes in active citizenship – Shilpi is an avid blogger and has a strong social media presence. Travel and movies are her prime interest.
