CEO, Relations for Social Change

As the founder and director of "Relations- for social change" (Liron social business), Liron developed workshops and lectures around Networking and Networks for social change. She is now working as consultant and mentor for different l Networks and Learning Exchange Programs.   

Liron Peleg-Hadomi, M.A., began her career when she was a student with the organization Ossim Shalom (Social Workers for Peace). Over the last 12 years she has worked with NGOs committed to strengthening relations between communities in Israel through community work, leadership development and networks. 
 
From 2005 until 2008 Liron was codirector of the GaliLead Program, a partnership with United Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University that develops Jewish-Arab leadership in the Galilee.
 
For the last six years Liron has served as the director of the Boston Haifa Learning Exchange, a position through which she engages leaders from the private sector, civil society and both the Haifa and Boston city governments on issues of social justice, multi-sectors networks and partnerships. Every year a network of 12-16 leaders come to the US and Israel to participate in the program through learning and engaging in joint projects. 
 
In 2007, along with a delegation of Jewish and Arab women from Israel and participants from South Africa, Liron was invited to Northern Ireland to take part in the Vital Voices Peace and Prosperity program. 
 
In 2010, Liron together with Noha Khatieb became the local coordinator for a new extension of the Vital Voices Peace and Prosperity program for young Israeli women. The group meets monthly to foster the next generation of peace builders in Israel. 
 
In April 2011 Liron and Noha Khatieb were recipients of the Vital Voices 2011 Fern Holland Global Leadership Award. The Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards honor and celebrate women leaders who work to strengthen democracy. Today she is working to develop the new VVGP's program, LEAD.
