Mimose Felix is an agronomy engineer specializing in rural development and agroforestry in Haiti. She has long championed the integration of women into the country’s development sector.

In 1998, she and other heads of agriculture created a think tank to tackle problems of food safety, Groupe d’Action pour l’Habilitation Economique et Sociale de la Famille Haïtienne (GRAFHES). Within GRAFHES, Mimose set up a technical school to train women in masonry, tile work and fish farming.
