María Gabriela Velasco Corrada is the co-founder of Bask in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is an entrepreneur, now creating an organization that focuses on a recovery protocol for post-disaster zones that includes inter-organizational resource coordination, strengthening humanitarian response efforts through effective resource allocation, knowledge sharing and attendance to mental health issues.

María co-founded HiveCube as a result of the catastrophe that Hurricane Maria left in Puerto Rico. In a short timeframe, HiveCube was accepted to a global startup accelerator, Parallel18, and won the MCS Health Innovation Award 2018 and the T-Mobile People's Choice Award 2018. 
 
María earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Spanish from Hood College, and aPhD in clinical psychology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She is the recipient of the 2018 Rotary Humanitarian STAR Award for her contributions in disaster relief and recovery.
