President, Giovanni e Francesca Falconi Foundation

Loredana is the Director Coordinator of the Falcome Foundation, where her responsibilities include designing and coordinating initiatives to promote the foundation’s mission. The foundation aims to spread the culture of legality, active citizenship, and opposition to organized crime among young people in order to perpetuate the legacy of Judge Giovanni Falcone, who was killed by the mafia in 1992. Judge Falcone firmly believed that in the fight against mafia, law enforcement activities should go side by side with all aspects of civil society.

Prior to her work with the foundation, Loredana worked as a financial and accounting manager for an export consulting company specializing in Far East markets. She also handled the coordination and design of new business projects and lectured in MBA and other training courses.

Loredana graduated from the University of Palermo with a degree in business economics in 1989 and subsequently earned her MBA and master’s degree in European contemporary law. She is a member of the Certified Public Accountants, Auditors and Advisors Association (ODCEC).

Loredana is also president of Parkrun Italia Scrl, a non-profit organization whose mission is to spread the culture of grassroot sports throughout Italy.
