Advisor to the President, ARMA

Joanna Janczycka is an advisor to the president of the Agency of Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture (ARMA). Her responsibilities include preparing analyses and reports of solution proposals for the chosen areas of the ARMA; issuing opinions about the drafts of ordinances, decisions and internal regulations; collaborating with the controlling state bodies, and also with law enforcement and administrations of justice.

Joanna is the chairwoman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Employees of Public Institutions, including, among others, the Trade Union of the Employees of the Agricultural Agencies and Institutions. She is also the chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Employees of the Agency of Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture — the largest trade union organization in the ARMA.

She is the founder and president of the Bank of Social Initiatives, an association to support rural areas by promoting a positive image of the countryside and the importance of agriculture in society; facilitating farmers’ access to services; promoting the conservation of natural resources in rural areas; and contributing to an increase in the profitability and attractiveness of production and services in a household.
