Dahlia Wilde is a writer, director, actor, producer and entrepreneur. As the CEO of Pretty Smart Woman Company, she creates theatre, film, television, radio and new media  projects, as well as educational and community initiatives toencourage women to be smart, courageous, creative and innovative.

She graduated from the prestigious Bronx High School of Science in New York City, and then Duke and Oxford Universities as a Truman Scholar in Public Service. Dahlia’s award-winning play Gangsta Love, directed by Garry Marshall, explores violence towards women. She is producing a tour of the play with an event in Central Park to take back the park for girls.

Dahlia has received many awards, including The Walt Disney Feature Writing Fellowship, Fox Searchlab Writing/Directing Fellowship, CBS Directing Fellowship, New York Foundation for the Arts Playwriting Fellowship, and the Dramatist’s Guild Kesselring Playwriting Grant, among others. She received The Large Hadron Collider Creative Fellowship from CERN, Geneva for her new particle physics play THE OH MY GOD PARTICLE SHOW!

Through her Pretty Smart Woman Company Dahlia teaches girls to write. She developed a sports project to fund initiatives for creative programs for girls.
