For over five years, Ms. Abeer Abu Ghaith has worked with private, public, nonprofit and educational sectors. She also has intensive working experience in economic empowerment, entrepreneurship, mentorship, project management, advocacy, lobbying, strategic planning, ICT and capacity building.

 
Currently, Abeer is the Managing Director of StayLinked, a start-up company that acts as a talent broker between skilled Palestinian freelancers and businesses with project needs that can be delivered leveraging remote service resourcing. StayLinked services create positive social impact by empowering professionals, primarily women and youth in Palestine. At the same time, Abeer works as a career guidance supervisor at the Center of Entrepreneurship and Career Development at Palestine Polytechnic University. In addition, Abeer is the Country Officer at Women’s Campaign International (WCI), an international organization working in emerging democracies and post-conflict regions around the world, where she has played a vital role in ALWANE program, which spans 16 countries across the Middle East and North Africa region for the advancement of women’s leadership. She successfully led and managed a team of more than 35+ of youth, volunteers and activists in Palestine. Abeer has headed ALWANE- Palestine initiatives including managing resources (information, budget and volunteers), subcontractors, deliverables and performance. Abeer also runs an awareness campaign to inspire young women to get involved in business and entrepreneurship and increases social acceptance of women in business and decision making positions. She created ALWANE's regional social media and communication strategy in addition to the program's sustainability plan. Abeer published articles, held awareness workshops, round table meetings with stockholders and decision makers and participated in multiple international and regional conferences and programs such as International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) entitled “Business Development and Entrepreneurship” in the United States, Global Ambassadors Program in Qatar and NYUAD workshop for “Women in Computing in the Arab World” in Abu Dhabi.
 

Abeer is the recipient of the “Best Technology Enabler and Facilitator” Award given by Women in Technology Awards 2014. The award identifies and recognizes women executives in various streams of technology business and in various countries who have delivered high levels of performance and results in a consistent and worthy manner. In Addition, Abeer has been selected as the personality of the month for Innovation in 2014 in “This Week in Palestine Magazine”.

 
She successfully worked as a trainer, career counselor and coordinator for South area on program called “STEP Forward,” implemented by Sharek Youth Forum. She led the training of more than 1,000 graduates and students in social media, employment and entrepreneurship in urban and marginalized areas. Previously, Abeer was a Hub manager-Palestine at Business Women Forum (BWF) for Middle East Business Women’s Network. Abeer has worked with regional and local business women, entrepreneurs and recent graduates in several multi-hundred thousand dollars projects including support women’s economic empowerment, business development and entrepreneurship. Her international experience consists of working with American and Arab companies and organizations such as WCI, Vital Voices, SPARK and Cheri Blair Foundation, US-Consulate and Middle East and North Africa Business Women’s Network (MENA BWN). Furthermore, she previously held the posts of Computer Networking Instructor at Palestine Polytechnic University and Hardware Engineer at Doura Industrial School.
 
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Palestine Polytechnic University in Hebron, Palestine.
