Mo Hom

After launching a successful clothing line and flagship boutique, Lotus Hom, in New York in 2010, Mo Hom moved back to Myanmar to focus on another dream — creating jobs and running her company in her home country.

She began her women's wear brand, Rose Gold Mountain Trading Co., in 2012, and some of her products under the Made in Myanmar label will be exported to European and South East Asian markets in 2013.

Mo Hom is living in Myanmar and has been participating as a speaker in many leadership and education programs. She has also been training women in her local community in self defense. She has attended global networking events, including a few events led by Vital Voices, and has established new relationships as a result.

Mo Hom has expanded her business from a design house for private labels, and is now producing uniforms for companies. She is also about to launch the Lotus Hom Foundation, alongside a tea estate and luxury resort in 2015.
