Liron Peleg-Hadomi, M.A., began her career when she was a student with the organization Ossim Shalom (Social Workers for Peace). Every year a network of 12-16 leaders come to the US and Israel to participate in the program through learning and engaging in joint projects.

In 2007, along with a delegation of Jewish and Arab women from Israel and participants from South Africa, Liron was invited to Northern Ireland to take part in the Vital Voices Peace and Prosperity program.

In 2010, Liron together with Noha Khatieb became the local coordinator for a new extension of the Vital Voices Peace and Prosperity program for young Israeli women. The group meets monthly to foster the next generation of peace builders in Israel.

In April 2011 Liron and Noha Khatieb were recipients of the Vital Voices 2011 Fern Holland Global Leadership Award. The Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards honor and celebrate women leaders who work to strengthen democracy. Today she is working to develop the new VVGP's program, LEAD.
