Beata Mońka is an economist by trade, building a track record in general management, marketing and sales and consulting in multicultural and international environments. She specializes in the TMT, entertainment, FMCG, industrial technologies, automotive, banking and services sectors

Since October 2013, Beata has served as president of the Management Board of GBC, one of the biggest economics publishing houses in Poland, and an Internet business portal-building multimedia company.

She has managed teams and projects at Omnicom group, where she was deputy managing director and a member of the company operations board. As a board member and managing director of Axel Springer Poland, she was responsible for business development. For nearly six years, she was the president of the management board and CEO of the communication group from the WPP holding Young & Rubicam Brands, Poland. In May 2011, she was appointed president of the management board and CEO of CANAL+ Cyfrowy, and co-led, with the Paris headquarters, the initiation of a strategic partnership between Canal+ Group and ITI – the biggest media transaction in the Polish market in 2012.

Beata has been active in the Polish market for more than 20 years, and is a member of the faculties of the Warsaw School of Economics and the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia.
