As the CFO for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management (MLWM) and Retirement and Personal Wealth Retirement Solutions, April is responsible for strategic financial analysis, reporting and financial planning for MLWM. April also leads the finance team that supports GWIM’s institutional retirement business. April has served in multiple other finance roles since joining the bank in November 2002.

April recently completed a rotation as one of the Enterprise Co-Leads for the LEAD for Women employee network. This role was focused on leading, managing and advancing the LEAD for Women employee network and connecting with stakeholders across Bank of America. From 2009-2013, April served as part of the CFO Diversity & Inclusion Council leadership team with a focus on recruiting and retention initiatives and, since 2016, has served as the co-chair for the Charlotte CFO D&I committee.

Prior to joining Bank of America, April was an audit manager with KPMG focusing on large financial institutions. April holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from UNC-Chapel Hill.
